SFR Repair, Remodeling, and Replacement Costs

The Clear Estimates Pricing Intelligence API (CEPIATM) is a system designed to deliver accurate localized home repair, renovation, replacement, and construction cost data. Utilizing a proprietary comprehensive dataset, CEPIATM provides critical data services for Real Estate, Insurance, and PropTech applications. The dataset provides national coverage across all 50 of the United States and material costs are updated on a quarterly basis within the first two weeks of each quarter (January, April, July, October). Labor rates for over 10 construction trades are updated on an annual basis at a minimum. Costs include materials, installation time, labor rate, and markup.

The Data are packaged in the formats below or can be tailored for specific use cases:

• API Access: Facilitates custom integration of construction cost data into web applications. The API is flexible, allowing for tailored implementations to meet specific design and functionality requirements. Pre-built widgets and user interface workflows also leverage the API with less code work required for implementation. • Bulk Data Delivery: Enables large-scale data delivery and integration into existing databases and systems. The level of detail and number of fields can be adjusted based on end user needs. Furthermore, the data can be presented with a high level of detail (10k+ line items) or in pre-packaged scopes of work (300+ templates) that cluster those line items for simpler implementation. The dataset is derived from over $20 billion in real estimates, encompassing 700,000 projects and 5 million tasks from 40,000 contractors over more than 20 years. This extensive data collection provides real-time, localized cost information reflecting actual contractor pricing for real projects.
